The CEO is the most senior officer within the Shire organization and responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations of the Shire. The CEO is specifically responsible for the following areas:
- Council liaison & Elected Member support
- Communications
- Governance/legal
- Organizational management
- Aviation/airport
