Murdoch Vet Program

The Murdoch Vet Program is an annual program where qualified and student vets from Murdoch University travel to remote and regional places in WA sterilising pets to help solve the overpopulation issues remote and regional towns face. The program is run in Meekatharra annually in April and aims to get as many animals seen as possible. Demand is high for this program so regularly check out the Shire's website and Facebook page for updates.

This program is run with the support of Murdoch University, the Shire Ranger, Shire of Meekatharra, Yulella Aboriginal Corporation and the Meekatharra CRC.
