Meekatharra Reconciliation Day Walk & Emu Bob

The Meekatharra community is invited to come together and get active on a Reconciliation Walk and Emu Bob to clean up Meekatharra along the way.

There will be a prize for the best dressed emu!

Departing from Meekatharra Park, participants can head south towards the Shell Reddy Express along the creekline then over the creek, back towards the school and along Meekatharra Creek Walk up to the Outdoor Cinema.

They will then return to meet for a free Reconciliation Day lunch at the Meekatharra Swimming Pool park. Please wear closed-in shoes/ boots, BYO water bottle, hat, gloves and a litter nipper if you have one.

Children must be supervised by adults at all times.

This free Reconciliation Week and Clean Up Australia community event is supported by Westgold, Shire of Meekatharra, Yulella Aboriginal Corporation, Meekatharra CRC and the Mid West Development Commission.
