The Shire of Meekatharra is seeking community volunteers to take part as passengers in a simulated airport emergency exercise.

The exercise will provide an opportunity to test the Airport Emergency Response Plan and support local emergency services to practise their response in a realistic and controlled environment.

Community members who volunteer will participate as passengers during the exercise. A free BBQ sausage sizzle will be provided for participants following the exercise.
